Welcome to my Korat Royal Thai Air Base photos. These photos were taken during the Vietnam War. I was stationed at Korat Air Base from 1970-71. I was assigned to the 553rd Reconnaissance Wing and worked on the EC-121R Engine & Propeller Systems. The aircraft paint scheme was camoflauge or "Lizard Skin" and had no upper and lower radomes. 
 
I returned back to Korat on April 2000 for a base tour. I wasn't allowed to photograph many of the facilities, but did manage to sneak a few photos in.
